Managing Mental Health

  • It is natural to feel stress, anxiety, fear, and worry during certain periods of your life. The most important thing is knowing when these things become too much for you to handle on your own.
  • Life can throw many curve balls and have you wondering what your purpose should look like and what your next steps are in this thing called life.
  • Always be aware of your behaviors and the behaviors of others to recognize warning signs. There is no shame in getting help when you are not able to manage your mental health. "We all need somebody to lean on". Never feel like you are alone. There are thousands of people going through something similar and you may can be of assistance to them one day.

If you or someone you know needs help, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255). Trained crisis workers are available to talk 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you think someone is in immediate danger, do not leave them alone—stay there and call 911.
